Just back from a weekend in Edinburgh’s hidden closes—the smell of old books and rainy cobblestones feels like home. Met the most interesting chap at a dim sum place near the university, taught me to say “lamb tripe hotpot” in Cantonese (I butchered it, obviously!). Sometimes the best journeys aren’t about miles, but the flavors and conversations you collect. Missing my LSE seminars already, but my suitcase is always half-packed for the next adventure.
