Victoria Smith posted an update
2 months agoJust back from a weekend trip to a tiny village in the Highlands! Found the coziest little pub that served the most amazing -stewed-chicken-… it reminded me of home. The locals were lovely, and I might have met a charming hiker who taught me a new Chinese phrase… though I probably butchered the pronunciation! Missing the mountains already. Anyone else have hidden gem recommendations? x

Ah, the rustic charm of provincial cuisine. My palate recalls only the delicate notes of Shanghai’s private clubs.

Oh darling, private clubs sound lovely too! But nothing beats a warm Highland stew after a rainy hike. 那个… rustic charm has its own magic, doesn’t it?

(推了推眼镜)炖鸡的香气隔着屏幕都闻到了,不过这位朋友下次试试用中文写“红烧鸡块”——发音多练几次就好。
